Backer copies started shipping in October 2026. Before you punch the tokens and shuffle anything, count the components once. It takes about ten minutes, and a missing card is far easier to report now than after your first game. The counts below come from the components page of the official rulebook (version of 29 June 2026).
Sort the cards by their backs first. Starter cards carry a banner in the top corner, so you can split the four House starter decks and the Dark Arts starter deck from the Acquire decks. Then count each pile against the table. Event cards come in three colours: white, orange and red.

If you sleeve your cards: the Kickstarter Protective Card Sleeve Set has 160 sleeves, enough for the 148 playing cards.

The Guardian and The Collector

The Collector: arrives later
The Collector's Box is not in this delivery. It ships separately, estimated for March 2027: 23 metal player pawns, the Dumbledore's Army upgrade (4 metal counters), the luxury token bag and the signed artist's portfolio. The same applies to these items if you bought them as add-ons.
Something missing or damaged?
- Count the pile again after sorting by card back. Cards often hide in the wrong deck or stick together in the shrink wrap.
- Take photos: the outer shipping box, the damaged part or the short pile, and the shipping label.
- Write down exactly what is missing, using the names and counts on this page.
- Contact MinaLima through the Kickstarter campaign page with your backer number and the photos. As of 24 October 2026 MinaLima has not published a separate replacement form; we will add it here if they do.
